New Ghost in the Shell Novel from Viz

Expected to come out this October, Viz will be releasing a novel of Ghost in the Shell entitled "After the Last Goodbye". Written by Masaki Yamada, the book serves as a prequel to the Ghost in the Shell 2 movie, and will have a $19.99 cover price.

Appleseed DVD selling well

Geneon reports that in the initial three weeks of the DVDs release, the three different domestic editions of the Appleseed movie have a combined sales that exceed 85,000 units, making Appleseed one of this year's best selling anime DVDs.
